I reached out to Stephanie, the events coordinator, earlier this month regarding reserving the cedar pavilion for my daughter’s 1st birthday party at castle hill farm. My initial event venue canceled so I was scrambling to find a space. Mind you, I reside 30 minutes away from Newtown. After constant back and forth through both email and phone, I was able to secure the date. Stephanie was also kind enough to allow me time to set up prior to the start of my event. Since this event was special and I wanted to check out the space before finalizing, I took it upon myself to drive to the pavilion to do so. Upon my arrival, my daughter was crying and I was not about to leave her in the car nor would I have brought her outside with me because there were mosquitoes and since it was already a hot day that day in addition to her crying, I decided to park on the lawn in front of the pavilion. I ended up running into Stephanie and she advised me to not park there. I understood, explained to her why I did, apologized numerous times, and headed my way home. If you want to have a blast with the family, you need to come to castle.Hill farm very coolPumpkin picking on the viney tractor rides to go feed the cows.Which was incredible.They were like big dogs, so much fun.We did the corn maze and watched the pumpkin launch, which was so much fun.I highly recommend castle hill farm for the family.You won't regret it.

Very well organized event today. A great band was playing, pumpkin toss by a big trebuchet, pumpkin patch cider and doughnuts, hayride where you get to feed the cows,a huge corn maze and more. Friendly staff. They also have a pavilion for private parties.

A very long overdue review here😊. We LOVE Castle Hill Farm so much. Since buying our house in 2020, I've been to Castle Hill Farm for several event/activities (i.e., paint and sips, live music, farm to table, etc.) and have the best time every time. Besides how beautiful the actual farm and property is, the people are even better!!! I love to support family owned business and the farm is a perfect example. No matter the reason for the visit, I know I'll see the owners family members around and engaging with their guests. I have the best conversations with them and truly enjoy every minute of it. There's nothing better than genuine people owning such a fun place like this. Our most recent visit in October entailed my son's first hayride. As you can see it was a huge hit and everyone (adults and kids 😋) had the time of their lives! 😁 I learned so much about the farm and animals I had no idea about from the owner Steve that day as well. So many memories have been created there and I look forward to so many more for my family as the years go on! 🎃🤎

Such a cute farm! Lovely place to spend a fall day picking pumpkins, wandering through the corn maze and seeing the catapult go. We took some engagement photos here last year and they were just perfect and really meant a lot to these frequent visitors and Halloween lovers!
